The following is a brief history of Base Village Metro District No 2:
| December 2004 | The Town of Snowmass Village approves the Developer's request to create Base Village Metropolitan District No. 2. | ![]() |
| January 20XX | Town of Snowmass approves the subdivision development plan – a XXX-home neighborhood. | |
| June 20XX | The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) is filed and the condos within the District become subject to the CC&Rs. | |
| July 20XX | The Capitol Peak Homeowners Association, Inc. is incorporated and assumes responsibility for enforcing the covenants and . | |
| June 2008 | The District issues bonds totaling approximately $47.75 million to subsidize the Developer's build-out of the neighborhood's streets, sidewalks, park, utility lines, open space landscaping, and storm water drainage infrastructure. | |
| Feb 2017 | The first homeowner begins serving on the District's board. | |
